Your files never leave your device.
Every deskumo tool runs inside your browser. Documents and photos are never sent to a server, so it’s fast—and safe for sensitive files.
About deskumo
deskumo is a collection of small, focused tools for the jobs that come up every week: putting PDFs together, shrinking a photo for a form, checking a word count, finding a meeting time across time zones. Each tool does one job, opens instantly and needs no account.
The tools run on your own device. When you merge PDFs or compress a photo, the file is read by JavaScript inside this browser tab and the result is created there too. Nothing is uploaded to a server, which is faster for large files and safer for contracts, payslips and ID scans.
Every tool page explains how the tool works, what we measured when we tested it, and where its limits are. The numbers come from our own test runs, and you can read how we test in our editorial policy.

We test things ourselves and write up what we find, with the numbers.
