Which tool should you use?
Right now this section has one tool: JSON Formatter & Validator. Paste an API response or a config file to pretty-print it, minify it, or find the exact line and column of a syntax error such as a trailing comma.
Because it runs locally, you can paste responses that contain tokens or customer data without sending them to a third-party server. For comparing two JSON files, format both and paste them into Text & Code Diff Checker; for checking colours in a stylesheet, see Color Converter & Palette.

Will more developer tools be added?
Yes. Encoders, decoders and generators are planned. Tools are added only once their page and testing are complete.
Is there a size limit for JSON?
No fixed limit. Files of a few megabytes format almost instantly; very large files depend on your device’s memory.
