deskumo is a set of free online tools for everyday work with PDFs, images, text, dates and numbers. It is run by plexsor co., ltd.

Why the tools run in your browser

Most online tools upload your file, process it on a server and send it back. That works, but it means a copy of your contract, payslip or passport scan sits on someone else’s computer for a while. deskumo does the work inside your browser tab instead, using JavaScript and well-known open-source libraries. Your files stay on your device, large files don’t have to travel over the network, and the tools keep working if your connection drops.

You can check this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab and use a tool. You will see the page and its scripts load, but no request carrying your file.

What we aim for

• One job per tool, done well, with no sign-up and no watermark.
• Honest pages. Each tool page explains how it works, what we measured when we tested it and what it can’t do.
• Easy to find. Search in your own words, drop a file anywhere to get suggestions, and jump straight to the next step.

How deskumo is paid for

The site is free to use and is supported by advertising from Google AdSense. Ads never decide what a tool does, and we keep them away from the tool area so they don’t get in your way. We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are used and where people get stuck. Details are in our privacy policy.
